"CHESS, Volume 2" edited by B.H.Wood. Published in hardback by CHESS, Sutton Coldfield in 1937. First Edition. 464pp. Plus index. Magazine numbers 13-24 (Sept 1936 - Aug 1937). The volume is in Good+ condition. All the magazine covers are bound in and the magazines themselves are all in good, readable condition with only minor age related scuff marks and the odd speck here and there. The binding is a light brown colour with raised bands on the spine. The top and bottom of the spine area have had a small piece of brown coloured leather neatly added to camauflage small areas of damage. The gilt lettering on the spine is still clear (see scan). The page edge block has light age browning but no foxing. Games and positions are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Very Heavy!
