"Zaanstreek International Schaaktournooi, 1946" by Schelfhout and Kottnauer. Published in hardback by Jacob van Campen in Amsterdam in around 1946. Presumed First Edition. In Dutch language and Algebraic notation. 134 large pages. L/N: 5699. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and the book stands straight with no shelf lean. The internal pages are all clean and unmarked although lightly tanned from the poorer quality of paper available so soon after WW2. The book is inscription free. The book is free of foxing. The depredations to note are a strong shadow on the rear board and slight superficial loss to the bottom of the same board. There is also a less noticeable shadow/discolouration at the top of the front board. Published in a pictorial cover, without a dustjacket. Pen cartoons of several players. Further scanned images are available on request. Uninsured postage by Royal Mail within the UK is £3.00. Airmail postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra - please ask me for details. Any questions, please just ask.
