Cercle Philidor
Il est fondé à Paris en 1903 une Association de joueurs d'échecs qui prend le nom de Cercle Philidor.
Amateur de première force, Henri Delaire (1860-1941) fonda en 1889 le Cercle Magenta qui devint par la suite le Cercle de Philidor dont il resta le président jusqu'en 1913.
Petit livret rarissime de 59 pages relatant les statuts du club. Imprimerie Masson et Cie, - La Rochelle.
Signé sur la couverture par le vice-amiral Jacques Vindry.
