Hongkong, HMHFC, (1972). Original softback edition on glossy paper. XII unnumbered pages (including Title page) + 67 pages. 20,8 x 13,8 cm. In English.
Good to very good: Normal wear on the covers. Some very slight wrinkles. The Title page is glued to the back of the front cover, along the spine, with a width of approximately 2 cm. In the lower inside corner of the Title page there is a label of the famous "Chess Sutton Coldfield". Otherwise in very good condition.
Lusis 1618. Actually, it is not exactly like that. The book mentioned by Lusis is an Edition published 1 year later, in 1973, increased thanks to the addition "plus Asians in Skopje Olympiad", having a total of 104 pages and with a different Title, "Asian zonal '72 : champion Torre ; plus Asians in Skopje Olympiad". In fact, on the unnumbered page XI of this auction book, the Authors say the following: "Next month, the Chess Olympiad begins in Skopje .....". The funny thing is that in the Philippine Online Library there is only the combined version mentioned by Lusis. The "real 1st Edition" (the book of this auction) cannot be found in the Philippine Online Library. Incredible and curious!
Book about the excellent triumph, in the Asian Zonal Tournament, of the Philippine Grand Master, Eugenio Torre, with a great photographic report.
