CAMPEON DEL MUNDO

González, José María (Dir. and Ed.): "Campeonato del Mundo. Match Final: Campeón BORIS SPASSKY (U. R. S. S.) - Aspirante ROBERT FISCHER (EE. UU.). REYKJAVIK (Islandia), 11 de Julio al 1 de Septiembre de 1972". ...y Ahora "Bobby" Fischer CAMPEÓN DEL MUNDO". "JAQUE" Revista Informativa de Ajedrez. ANEXO II.

San Sebastián, "JAQUE" Revista Informativa de Ajedrez, 1972. Original glued softback edition in glossy paper with dustjacket. 293 pages (safeguard and Title page including in pagination) + Index page. 21 x 15,6 cm. In Spanish.

Excellent: Only minor defects such as a slight wear of dustjacket. Otherwise in excellent condition. Inside almost like new, without writings. An excellent copy, in lovely condition. Normally the books published in Spain at that time with a glued soft cover had the defect that when the book was opened without special care, the pages, over time, were loose. Under normal conditions, for a book with such beautiful and interesting content, I would take a lot of photos, but to preserve the ideal condition of the book, this time I will take very few photographs.

Di Felice 3272.7 (Chess Competitions 1971-2010).

Excellent and beautiful report about the most famous Match (actually any event) in Chess History, with many photos (at least 1 of Fischer in color and Spassky's on the back of the dust jacket), caricatures, drawings (at least 1 in color), interviews and analysis with excellent special collaborators (SKAK: Boletín Islandés del match, Federación Islandesa de Ajedrez, Jens Enelvoldsen, Svetozar Gligoric, Carlos F. Juárez, Dr. Cecilio Skliar and Román Torán) and commentators (Julio Bolbochán, Miguel Botwinnik, Joaquín Durao, Larry Evans, Svetozar Gligoric, Félix del Hoyo, Bent Larsen, Miguel Najdorf, Alberic O'Kelly, Herman Pilnik, Arturo Pomar, Vasily Smyslov, Boris Spassky, Miguel Tahl, Román Torán, Vladimir Tukmakov and Bernardo Wexler). I honestly think this book is one of the best about the Match of the Century (surely it will be for all eternity), probably the best.
