Small octavo, original (?) cloth-backed boards, title-label on front cover (with small paper loss). pp iv, 143. 100 games with brief notes, "recently played, either between the best players in that society, or by them with other celebrated players of the day." Includes a list of subscriber's accounting for 168 copies. A very scarce book in good condition. Williams was one of the leading English players of his time, and took 3rd prize at the 1851 London tournament. LN 3147.
