Photo album with 16 original photos from the strongest tournament ever held in the Czech Republic - Eurotel World Chess Trophy 2002 in Prague. The photos come from the archive of the Czech chess magazine Sachinfo. Size of the photos: 12,6 x 8,8 cm.
The photos show, for example, Karpov, Kasparov, Kramnik, Anand, Ilyumzhinov, Kok, Kavalek, Timman, several Czech politicians and others during the debate. Khalifman, Piket, Shirov, Morozevich and Yusupov are captured behind the chessboard.
The tournament, played by knock out system, was attended by the world's top players - Kasparov, Karpov, Kramnik, Anand, Topalov, Ivanchuk, J. Polgar, Adams, Morozevich, Grischuk, Shirov, Leko, Short and many others. The winner of the tournament was Anand ahead of Karpov, Ivanchuk and Shirov.
"Prague Agreement" to reunite the world championship was signed during the event.
Condition - Good or Better: on the back side of photos are stamps of the Czech chess magazine Sachinfo, some photos have handwritten captions.
