British Chess Magazine 1908.
London 1908. Contemporary half cloth, spine lettered with decorative print. Marbled edges. VIII (=title, index) + 560 pages + 10 plates. Size ca 21.5 cm. The weight 940 grams. LN 6135, Betts 7-27. In English.
Good or better: binding is tight, covers a little rubbed. Small crayon note on front paste-down. Title page a little browned. The book-block between page VIII and the following leaf is starting to loosen and is somewhat soiled. Internally usual light signs of use, text OK with no writings.
Complete volume XXVIII, numbers 1-12 including title page and index. The covers are not bound in. The magazine was checked page by page.
All 10 plates are here: A. C. White, C. Planck, M. I. Chigorin, Scottish Championship Cup, J. W. Quinn, Match Sheffield-Leicester, M. D. McGrath, Tunbridge Wells Congress 1908, J. Keeble, H. Staunton.
