Tijdschrift van den Nederlandschen Schaakbond 1897 + 1898 (two volumes in one book).
Amsterdam, 1897-1898. Later hardcover, spine lettered. Size 23 cm. The weight 800 grams. LN 6203. In Dutch.
1897: title, index, numbers 1-12: VI + 260 pages + 1 plate.
1898: title, index, numbers 1-12: VI + 274 pages
Good plus: binding is tight, covers slightly soiled. Title page slightly creased. One leaf (pages 229/230) has small defect at the margin. Occasional neat notes in pen or crayon, usually in the problem section.
Both volumes are complete. The magazine was checked page by page.
The plate in 1897 shows N. W. van Lennep (1872-1897). No other plates were issued in these years. The covers are not bound in.
