Description

A very rare photo of the young Boris SPASSKI, at his first international contest in Bucharest, during the International Chess Tournament of Romania, size 17x12 cm. On front is marked "AGERPRES", the national press agency and on back stamp of the newspaper "Sportul Popular", dated 28.i.1953.

The image is good, but the condition quite poor, with some foldings. The photo is retouched for press, mainly at Spasski's hair.
