Translation of the title: My Path to Success.

Barbara Hund (born 1959) is a Woman Grandmaster and one of the strongest female players of her generation. She was ranked among the world’s top ten women players in 1983. A three-time German Women's Champion (1978, 1982, 1984), she won several international tournaments and twice qualified for the Women's Interzonal Championship. Representing West Germany, she earned both team and individual bronze medals at the Chess Olympiads. After switching federations in 1991, she continued her successful career with the Swiss national team and became Swiss Women's Champion in 1993.

The book covers her chess career up to 1982, featuring 34 selected annotated games and numerous photographs.
