Joël Lautier plays and wins. Probably the only chess book about Joël Lautier so far. In addition to the biography, it contains 40 annotated games from various periods of his chess career. At the end of the book, there are also several dozen unannotated games, an index of opponents and an index of opening. The book is hard to obtain today.
Joël Lautier (born 1976) is a French chess grandmaster and one of the world's leading chess players in the 1990s and early 2000s. He is the youngest player ever to win the World Junior Championship at the age of 15 and one of the few players who has a lifetime positive score against Garry Kasparov. In 2006, he retired from his professional chess career and started working in business.
