This is Gustavus C. Reichhelm’s copy of Falkbeer’s, Paul Morphy, A Sketch from the Chess World. Numerous Morphy games written in the margin by Reichhelm along with many of Reichhelm’s games written in the margins.
Gustavus Charles Reichhelm (1839–1905) was an American chess player and writer from Philadelphia. While he was active in competitive chess, his most significant contributions came through his work as a chess journalist. He edited chess columns for the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin and the Philadelphia Times, sometimes writing under the pseudonym "Garibaldi".
