TOURNAMENT OF THE STRONGEST The youngest international master and the youngest participant in the championship, eighteen-year-old Boris Spassky, won the general sympathy of chess fans. V. Spassky played the entire tournament in good style, winning the right to participate in the international men's zonal tournament of candidates for a match with the world chess champion M. Botvinnik.
