The Deutsche Schachrundschau "Caissa" was a German chess magazine that was published twice a month. It was first released in December 1946 in the British zone of Germany and later adopted the name Deutsche Schachrundschau in 1949. The magazine contained official announcements from the Deutscher Schachbund (German Chess Federation), as well as sections on problem chess, tournament reports, and correspondence chess.
The publication was initially edited by Frits Barkhuis, with contributions from notable chess figures such as Georg Kieninger and Walter Loose. It was printed by W. Hain Verlag in Weidenau (Sieg) and remained independent until September 1955, when it merged with the Deutsche Schachzeitung
