A complete run of the twelve "CHESS, Sutton Coldfield" magazines for Vol 12 (part 1946 and part 1947). They are Issue Numbers 133-144, inclusive and are in Good overall condition for their age (apart from Issue Number 139 which is complete but has no cover). Each magazine has around 24 large pages. The covers have age-related scuffing, creasing and light staining but internally they are all clean and inscription free apart from the very occasional pencil tick at the start of annotated games. Staples have rusted but not bled. Pages have browned slightly from the poorer quality of paper available so soon after WW2. Packed full of contemporary reporting from the latest tournaments of the day! Includes a facsimile index.Games are given in English descriptive notation. Any questions, please just ask.
