"The British Chess Magazine, 1956" published by the BCM in 1956. Bound in maroon hardback. 346pp. Volume 76. Includes index. The volume is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no bowing or shelf lean present. The boards are clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still - just - readable. There is a contact indentation on the rear board (see scan). The page edge blocks are age-tanned. The internal pages are very clean and inscription free. The quality of paper is excellent and far superior to the WW2 years. Free of foxing. Games are given in English descriptive notation.  Condition Rating: 7.5/10. Any questions, please just ask.
