Description

Chess Amateur 1913, Vol. VII – January-September (#76-84), pp. 97-382 + Vol. VIII – October-December (#85-87), pp. 1-96, COMPLETE YEAR, privately bound in uniformly blue hard covers, all covers preserved.

Condition: pages or covers may be a little stained, some pages were a little oblique bound, but not losing text (excepting pp. 329-330, 335-336, but very little - 1-2 letters!).

At the beginning and at the end of each number, there are 1-2 pages about "The Chess Amateur" Supplement. Correspondence Play, numbered apart (pp. 13-48 + pp. 1-12).

Not such a bad copy as is presented and please note that these magazines belonged to W. Pauly, since each first cover and at least one page inside are stamped “[Donaţia] W. PAULY / Martie 1934” (sometimes the stamp may be only partial).

Wolfgang Pauly (1876 - 1934) was considered one of the greatest chess composers of the world (M. Niemeijer).

Netto weight: 0,950 kg.

Shipping cost will be added. Combined shipping accepted.
