Chess Amateur 1922, Vol. XVI – January till September (#184-192), pp. 97-384 + Vol. XVII - October till December (#193-195), pp. 1-96,

COMPLETE YEAR, privately bound in uniformly blue hard covers, all covers preserved.

Condition: acceptable to good, a very small portion of the first cover of #184 was glued  so it is very little damaged, pp. 98-99 a little glued, pages folded on the vertical half; pages 23-27/#193 have several staines, pages 98-99/#195 are somewhat glued one to another.

Not such a bad copy as is presented and please note that these magazines belonged to W. Pauly, since each first cover and at least one page inside are stamped “[Donaţia] W. PAULY / Martie 1934” (sometimes the stamp may be only partial).

Wolfgang Pauly (1876 - 1934) was considered one of the greatest chess composers of the world (M. Niemeijer).
