Description

Two great chess tournament books: 1. "New York, 1924" by A. Alekhine. Published in softback by Dover in 1961 as a reprint of the original 1925 tournament book. 270pp. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The covers are clean although the spine area suffers from strong sunning. There is a previous owner's signature on the front endpaper in pen. Internally the book is very clean and unmarked and feels as though its hardly been read. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Condition Rating: 7.5/10. 2. "Nottingham, 1936" by A. Alekhine. Published in softback by Dover in 1962 as a reprint of the original 1937 tournament book. Condition is similar to the New York volume with similar sunning to the spine but inscription free. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Condition Rating: 7.5/10. Any questions, please just ask.
