The scoresheet is dated 24. X. 1937. (This is probably a mistake. The game was played in the 9th round, which took place on October 25, 1937.)
It is written in Hostinsky's hand, signed (also through carbon) by both players. Size 23.5 x 16 cm.
Good to very good: light signs of use, 2x centre fold.
Steiner won in 26 moves. The game can be found in the tournament book on pages 66-67 (Barta: Mezinarodni sachovy turnaj v Brne 1937. Brno, 1937, LN 5551).

Biographical data:
Lajos Steiner (1903-1975), strong Hungarian-Australian master. Hungarian champion in 1931 and 1936, he played for Hungary 4x in Olympiads. In 1939 he emigrated to Australia. 4x Australian champion between 1945-1959. Lajos was younger brother of Endre Seiner (1901-1944), also chess master.
Zdenek Hostinsky (1914-1986), strong Brno chess player. He took part in the final of Czechoslovak championship in 1955.
