Biographical data:
Miroslav Filip (1928-2009), Czech GM, one of world's best chess players around 1960, World Championship Candidate 1956 and 1962. Multiple Czechoslovak chess champion.
Robert Sobel (born 1934), strong US player, Pennsylvania State Champion in 1953, he won against Bobby Fischer in 1956.
William Lombardy (1937-2017), US GM, teacher and writer. He was World Junior chess champion in 1957; he was 3 times US champion or co-champion. He played several time in chess olympiads and was a second of Bobby Fischer in his match against Spassky in Reykajvik 1972
Arthur Feuerstein (1935-2022), strong US player, New York State champion.
Anthony Saidy (born 1937), strong US IM, noted chess writer and book collector. He played 8x in US championships.
Edmar Mednis (1937-2002), US GM and chess writer, author of ca 15 books. Mednis was second in the 1955 World Junior Championship behind Boris Spassky.
