Sitting next to Filip is probably Josef Marsalek, and the young man standing in the black sweater is possibly Jiri Vesely(?).
Biographical data:
Miroslav Filip (1928-2009), Czech GM, one of world's best chess players around 1960, World Championship Candidate 1956 and 1962. Multiple Czechoslovak chess champion.
Josef Marsalek (born 1935), strong player, several times participated in the Czechoslovak championship. He was a member of the team, which won Student World championship in 1954 – his result was 5 of 5. Later he stopped active play.
Jiri Vesely (1932-2009), Czech master, member of Czechoslovak team, which won the first World Student championship in Oslo 1954 - Vesely scored 5,5 points of 7 games. Noted chess writer, journalist, author of several books, some of which became bestsellers. Germanist, Professor of the Charles Univeristy in Prague.
