This is a “Die Schwalbe” volume which belonged to Gheorghe GOȘMAN, well known problem composer from Romania.

The volume is privately bound in HC, but not professional. Pages more or less stained and/or yellowed. Many pages have annotations or ticks or underlines for most of the problems in (colored) pencil or in ink, but the text or the diagrams are anyway not affected (too much). All these annotations do not look bad at all, are even interesting, but this is only a point of view!

When it was bound, some pages (not too many!) may have been by wrongly cut, so a few letters on horizontal or vertical edges may be lost.

There are some sheets / piece of papers bound or glued in the volume, original stamped by Gh. Gosman, containing new problems and examples for that subject, which give a piece of historical interest to the volume.

It is an interesting and very scarce item, maybe a problemist’s must, but less a collectable piece!

Anyway, it is not such a bad item as presented above, but I intended to inform you about all or at least about most of any of the possible defects I have detected in the volumes in this Gosman's set.

Please feel free to ask anything else about the status of the magazines.
