Besides reports of the meeting, the edition contains some games, including: a consultation game between English (Staunton, Boden, Kipping) and foreign players (Anderssen, Horwitz, Kling); Anderssen - Harrwitz; Löwenthal - Horwitz; Anderssen - Löwenthal; a blindfold game between Anderssen and Harrwitz.

Condition: Original paperback. Frontcover loose. Some other pages loose. This was Johann Lowenthal’s personal copy, signed by him, and from the Rimington-Wilson Chess Library. Scarce. From David DeLucia's chess library.
