Good / dust jacket not issued: edges and corners a little rubbed, binding is OK. 2x remains of an old paper label on the front endpaper, similar two remains on the last page of Note of Thanks I. Two leaves (pp.63-66) have light brown stains (from coffee?) at the bottom edge. Otherwise text is OK, with no writings. The portrait is covered with tissue paper.
The publisher's printed card contains information that they are sending a corrected "A Note of Thanks" because there was an error in the first version. The error is that the first version of "A Note of Thanks" erroneously states (lines 1-2) "Mr. Frank Altschul in New York", while the second version correctly states "Mr. Frank Altschul of Stamford". Otherwise, the two "Notes of Thanks" are identical, containing one problem by A. C. White and one page of text.
The publisher's printed card (picture 6) calls for the destruction of the first "Note of Thanks", but both are enclosed here.
Eight titles were published by Overbrook Press between 1941 and 1945, all in limited editions of 150-400 copies. This is the eighth, last book of the series.
