Petr Mlynek, born in 1943, belongs to the best Brno chess players for decades. In this autobiographical book, he writes about his chess career since 1958 to the present.

The book contains ca 150 games of the author, all well annotated by himself. Separate chapters deal with other themes like chess training, history of chess, authors club results, his meetings with other players, strange characters of Brno chess life etc. The book is accompanied with many photos. The edition is limited to 111 numbered copies, all signed by author.

The book title means in English „The story of an average chess player“.
