Very good: light signs of use, no flaws, text clean and unmarked.

Karel Traxler, (1866 - 1936), was one of the best Czech players around 1900, known for the Traxler variation in the Two Knights Defence, well known problemist.

The booklet contains biography, 79 games – mostly annotated, crosstables, indexes. No problems are present. Jan Kalendovsky is well known chess historian.

Published in the program of the 12th Olexa-memorial tourney.

Programs of Brno tournaments were published in small edition and are devoted to the history of chess, tournaments, bios etc. More about these programs on our website, in our Collectors Corner.
