Meissenburg, Egbert. Okkasioneller Rundbrief. Seevetal, Meissenburg, 1995–2005. In German and English. Nos. 1 – 30, 270 pages (complete). Not in Di Felice.
Complete series of occasionally issued newsletters, which began with No. 1 in July 1995 and concluded with No. 30 in September 2005. Some articles were written in German and others in English. They were intended for chess history matters and, as stated in the preface of No. 1, were published in a small edition of approximately 50 copies to be accessible to chess historians of the "Initiativgruppe Königstein" and other interested parties. In short essays, topics from various areas of chess history are treated in aphoristic form, and initiatives of chess historians are presented. Includes contributions by R. Calvo, H. Holländer, G. Josten, E. Meissenburg, A. Sanvito, K. Whyld, among others. The individual occasional newsletters are listed on pages 469–477 in Siegfried Schönle’s bibliography "Internationale Bibliographie zur Geschichte der Schach- und Brettspiele".
Condition - Good to Very Good: elegant private leather binding with gilt lettering on spine. Most pages were vertically folded in half. Exlibris label on inside front cover.
