The KOLT magazine was founded in 1965 by four students (Jan Kalendovsky, Zdenek Zavodny, Antonin Rakovsky, and Petr Dokladal), with 3 issues released that year. No issues were published in 1966, followed by a single issue in 1967. In 1968, 3 issues were published; a fourth was planned but never released due to the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia in August 1968. The 1968 volume is the most professionally produced of the entire run. Three subsequent volumes were published later (1972, 1974, and 1975), but by different editors.
This rare magazine was named after the four favorite players of its founders: K = Keres, O = Olafsson, L = Larsen, and T = Tal.
Condition - Very Good: private cloth binding with lettering on spine. The missing piece in diagram no. 5 in the final issue has been added by hand.
