Good to very good: light signs of use, horizontal centre fold.
Autograph letter signed to Dr. Zdenek Mach informing him of a change of address and about one chess problem
The author mentions the chess column in Zlata Praha. Since Zdenek Mach edited the column from 1903 to 1929, the letter must have been written during this period.
Biographical data:
Josepf Henry Blake (1859-1951), English chess master).
Dr. Zdenek Mach (1877-1954), Czech problem composer, one of the leading representatives of the Bohemian chess problem school, long-year editor of several chess columns – Svetozor, Zlata Praha etc. Author of ca 500 problems.
