London (Bell) / New York (Macmillan), 1920. First edition. Orig. hardcover, no dust jacket. XVI (including portrait), 210, (6) pages. Size 22 cm. 330 grams. In English. LN 3042, Betts 29-22.
Fair to good: top of spine frayed. Edges somewhat rubbed. Printing on spine discolored. Last few leaves including the rear endpaper somewhat stained/soiled at the top. Some other light signs of use. Text is OK with no writings. Signed by Czech master and study composer Ladislav Prokes on the title page, dated 20. XII. 1920.
