Contains more than 250 problems by the Czech chess problemist Jan Dobrusky. Dr. Jan Dobrusky (1853–1907), a lawyer by profession, was a leading figure in Czech chess life. He was a strong practical player, but became especially renowned as a problem composer and as one of the founders of the Bohemian School of Chess Composition. He died suddenly in a courtroom in Prague on 31 May 1907.
Condition - Good: Private cloth binding with lettering on spine and original softcover bound inside. The front of the original cover is soiled and stained around the edges. Paper age-toned.
