Unchanged reprint of the 8th edition, which was published in 1916 and later around 1920.

Condition of the main book - Good: Spine and back cover slightly soiled. Stains on the endpapers and sporadically inside. A few removable notes and marks. Mild foxing on the edges.

Condition of the supplement by Mieses - Good: Private half-cloth binding without lettering. A few stamps of the historic Czech chess club Dobrusky. Handwritten notes on page 19.

Condition of the supplement by Kmoch - Good: Binding is somewhat soiled. A few removable notes and marks. Slight foxing.
