The Chess Player, Nottingham, 1998, 229 pp, 430 grams, condition: fair, some signs with pencil in the index of openings,  the up and the bottom of the spine is worn. 

Introduction by Ken Whyld, 1390 games in figurine algebraic notation, 32 compositions (problems, studies), tournament tables, diagrams, a few photos, index of players names. Α very "dense" book.

Kenneth Whyld (6 March 1926 – 11 July 2003) was a British chess author and researcher, best known as the co-author (with David Hooper) of The Oxford Companion to Chess, a single-volume chess reference work in English.
