Marcel Duchamp, one of the renowned artists of the 20th century, was also a strong chess player. He took part in the world amateur championship 1924, 4 Chess Olympiads from 1928-1933, 5 French championships 1924-28, co-winner at Hyeres 1928.

This second volume of detailed Marcel Duchamps biography is devoted to years 1926-1930, when the famous artist was fascinating with chess. Besides 370 partly annotated games, of which 55 are by Duchamp, the book brings a lot of interesting information from a chess life in late 1920s, especially in France. Accompanied by crosstables, career record, general and chess bibliography, index of players and openings, general index.
