A very rare bulletin containing 116 games (out of a total of 166) from the 23rd USSR Championship Semi-Final held in Moscow from November 11 to December 10, 1955. As noted in the bulletin, the remaining games were published in the magazine Shakhmatny bulletin 1956, No. 5, and in the book Shakhmaty za 1955 god. The tournament was won by Abram Khasin, ahead of Yuri Averbakh and Vladimir Simagin. Many games from this bulletin are missing from publicly available databases.
Condition - Very Good: New elegant half-cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine. Page V is smaller than the other pages (as originally issued). Smaller inserted sheets are tipped in before pages VI, 4, and 33: a list of participants before page VI, and errata before pages 4 and 33.
