Sjakkliv 1945 was the first publication of the Norwegian chess magazine, edited by Olaf Barda. The inaugural issue was also a festskrift commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Norwegian Chess Federation. It contained games, opening theory, problems, correspondence chess and Norwegian and international chess news, making it an interesting record of the revival of Norwegian chess after World War II. 40 pages.
