Description

Presentation page for CHRISTMAS CONGRESS, December 28th, 1926, to January 6th, 1927, en-tete "Hastings & St. Leonards Chess Club", one sheet size 21x26 cm, printed both sides. Front side has many comments (text, completion of a cross-table etc.) hand-written by Ion Gudju, one of the participants, at that time.

Condition: acceptable to good: perforated at left edge, folded on horizontal half and a little torn on these foldings. A very rare item, with original comments since a century ago! Ion GUDJU (1897-1988) was a foremost Romanian master, founder member of FIDE in 1924.
