In 1927, the magazine changed its name, and the volume numbering restarted at 1. However, it was a continuation of Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu, so it is in fact the 31th annual volume. The volume numbering was finally standardized only in 1946.
The 1937 volume is one of the rarer volumes of the magazine.
Ceskoslovensky sach is the main Czech chess magazine published continuously since 1906. The title changed over time mainly for political reasons: Casopis ceskych sachistu (1906–1919), Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu (1920–1926), Ceskoslovensky sach (1927–1938 and 1946–present), and Sach (1939–1945).
Condition - Good: Elegant half-cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine. Pencil check marks next to the numbers of some games. Small note on page 3. Several issues lightly folded vertically down the center. Occasional minor soiling and spotting.
