Ceskoslovensky sach 1965. Praha. Monthly. In Czech. Editor: Jiri Podgorny. Issues 1-12. Title page, index, 192 + 8 pages. Volume 59. All covers bound in. Di Felice 470.
In this volume, two unnumbered four-page supplements (folded sheets) were issued as loose inserts with issues 8 and 10. Both supplements contain material related to the magazine's regular content. The supplement to issue 8 contains readers' letters and the Correspondence Chess section, while the supplement to issue 10 contains the Correspondence Chess section, a problem-solving competition, regional news and readers' letters. Both of these supplements are often missing from bound volumes.
From 1952 to 1968, the chess problems section was part of the magazine's regular pagination.
Ceskoslovensky sach is the main Czech chess magazine published continuously since 1906. The title changed over time mainly for political reasons: Casopis ceskych sachistu (1906–1919), Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu (1920–1926), Ceskoslovensky sach (1927–1938 and 1946–present), and Sach (1939–1945).
Condition - Good: Full-cloth binding with gilt lettering on spine and front board. A slight dent to the upper edge of the front board. Handwritten numbers on the rear cover of issue 7. Both supplements are loosely inserted with issues 8 and 10 and have slightly browned paper with minor tears
