Description

Ceskoslovensky sach 1968. Praha. Monthly. In Czech. Editor: Jiri Podgorny. Issues 1-12. 176 + (4) + 46 + 32. Volume 62. All covers included. Di Felice 470.

Two supplements were published that year:

1. Korespondencni sach (Correspondence Chess) – 46 pages. Published with all 12 issues. In issue 3, Korespondencni sach is mistakenly paginated 5–8 instead of 9–12.

2. VI. prebor CSSR v kompozicnom sachu 1963-1965. Definitivny vysledok (6th Czechoslovak Championship in Chess Composition, 1963–1965. Final Results) – 32 pages. Published with issue 9.

Title page and index were published with issue 12 (4 unnumbered pages).

From 1952 to 1968, the chess problems section was part of the magazine's regular pagination.

Ceskoslovensky sach is the main Czech chess magazine published continuously since 1906. The title changed over time mainly for political reasons: Casopis ceskych sachistu (1906–1919), Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu (1920–1926), Ceskoslovensky sach (1927–1938 and 1946–present), and Sach (1939–1945).

Condition - Good to Very Good: In loose issues. Sporadic slight spotting and soiling. The magazine’s pagination jumps from page 60 to page 63, but this is a printing error, not a case of missing pages.
