Roma, 1912-13. Contemporary cloth, spine lettered, marbled edges. (4), 224 pages. Size ca 23 cm. The weight 520 grams. This volume not in LN (LN 6185). Di Felice 2013. In Italian.
Good to very good: binding is tight. Corners slightly bumped. Stamp of previous owner on the front paste-down = chess composer and collector Ilja Mikan. Pages are clean, with occasional neat marks in red pen or crayon in the problem section in Mikan's hand. Pages in double-issue 3-4 (Marzo-Aprile 1912) are slightly creased (nothing serious).
Complete volume 13, numbers 1-12, including halftitle, title and index (=pp.215-224). The magazine was published in 1912. The last issue of the magazine together with index was published in 1913. The title page is dated 1914
The covers are not bound in. No plates were published this year.
This final volume of the magazine is rare. It is missing in the LN collection. As far as I know, it has never been auctioned at LSAK or Klittich-Pfankuch
(The magazine was published monthly from 1900 to 1912-13. It has subtitle: Organo Ufficiale dell’Unione e dell’Accademia di Scacchi di Firenze).
