Praha, 1931. Contemporary half-cloth, spine lettered. 384 pages. Large size ca 32 x 23.5 cm. The weight 1,160 grams. Not in LN. Not in Whyld: Chess Columns; Mokry 417k. In Czech.

Good to very good: light sign of use, text with no writings.

Complete volume, numbers 1-24, title/index probably not issued

The chess column in the family magazine Stastna Rodina (which means Happy Family) was only published in 1931.

The column is intended for intermediate players and contains 18 problems, 1 study and 5 games. The editor of the column was Josef Pilat.

The volume contains 20 columns. In addition, there are two chess photos in the magazine outside the column: a) in issue 8, page 117, caricatures of Stoltz and Flohr during their game in Prague 1931; b) a photo of the game Sultan Khan - Bogoljubov from the Olympiad in Prague 1931.

(The magazine was published monthly, later bi-weekly from 1923 to 1931).
