Edited by the author, Prague, first edition, 1928, in three languages: Czech, English and German. Paperback, 135 pp, 225 grams, condition: a reading copy. Damage to the margins of pages 71-127, probably from a cigarette, but which does not affect the text and diagrams. Pages 67-78 have separated from the spine of the book. However, none are missing.(see photos 2,4).
Emil Palkoska "Czech lawyer, problemist. Author of many chess articles and books. He composed more than 1500 problems, mainly triplets. He belongs to the most important chess composers. In the Albums of the FIDE has earned 18 points, with 200 awards, including about 35 first and 85 other awards.
In 1907-1954, he conducted a compositional chess club in Prague called the Faculty.
He wrote books: Schachprobleme: Weiss: Dame und ein Läufer (with AC White, 1911), Idea and Economy in the Chess problem (1928)." -arves-
